Gateway Classic Cars of Philadelphia is presenting a 1940 Ford Woodie for sale.
Take a minute and look at this one. While you are looking, I am going to tell you the story the way it was told to me.
The original owner of this vehicle used it to sell flowers from at the Easton, Pa Farmers Market. After using it for years she gifted it to her hairdresser. The hairdresser kept the vehicle for years and eventually it ended up in storage and forgotten.
The story goes on that her family found the car years later and had the car painted and the wood redone. They sold the car to the third owner in the 90s and the current owner bought it in 2016. Since then, the car received new carb, distributers, wires, and water pumps.
The odometer shows 30819 miles. We believe 4 owners. The craftmanship that this vehicle is a reminder of is what drove the automotive industry in this country.
