1940 International Turck truck. Very low mile solid truck here.
Its history includes two stints as a yard truck in Indiana for two separate companies. The last owner parked it in his barn 25 years ago.
The original six-cylinder engine runs great. It idles smooth and accelerates well. This is probably because it has new battery, new points, new plugs, new fuel pump, new condenser, new fuel and a few new hoses and a days labor. It does not smoke and does not leak. The exhaust is quiet.
The clutch is strong, and the three-speed manual transmission shifts smoothly.
Also replaced the master cylinder, all of the brake hoses and some of the brake lines. The front wheel cylinders were rebuilt too.
The interion is complete. The glass is great except for a small crack in the drivers door glass. It is flat glass and an easy fix.
The electrical seems in order. The clearance lights have been replaced.
The wrecker operates with ease.
