For sale is a clean and well maintained 1947 Mercury Eight Carson Top. The Mercury Eight originally had a flat head V8, this Mercury has been updated to a 283 Chevy V8 with a Saginaw 4-speed column shift manual transmission, and the reverse has been relocated to the floor. This Carson top has been kept inside and the previous owner had possession of it for over a decade. Being an Oregon car before coming to Washington it has been in the pacific northwest most of its life. It has recently been fitted with a new 600cfm Edelbrock carburetor and starts, runs, and drives great. The Odometer reads 24,167 Miles.
