1948 Chevrolet 3600 Pickup V8 Automatic
Please read whole description, ask questions before bidding. 11,700 miles on restoration/build. 305 H.O. with factory roller cam. 700R4 both rebuilt to factory spec by ASE certified master tech.
Original frame with the front section boxed, Fatman independent front suspension with disc brakes and rack and pinion steering. 10 bolt Chevrolet rear axle. Body was pretty rust free only having to weld in lower cowl patches and inner kick panels. Many new parts used on the build, Complete wiring harness, starter, alternator, Edelbrock carburetor, Accel HRI distributor, Aluminum radiator with electric fans, inside and outside door handles, Grille, right front fender, Tail gate, ’37 Ford tail lights with custom mounts, gas tank, windshields and side glass, New Vintage gauges, seat upholstery, head liner, steel wheels and probably a million other little things I’m forgetting.
This is not a show truck, I’ve used it as a truck and has a few paint chips and scratches from being used and driven. It still gets smiles, waves and “thumbs up”wherever we go and did win a few trophies the first couple of summers after completing it. Tires are Firestone destination radials 225-75-15 in front and 265-75-15 rear with great tread were installed new when building truck. Custom made steel wheels. I don’t have access to a lift so I cannot take pictures of the chassis, it’s dirty from driving the truck. Truck is for sale locally so reserve the right to end the auction early. The truck is sold as is with no warranties.
