Up for auction is my 1949 chevrolet half ton short box pickup… Not really wanting to sell it but we are planning to move in the near future and just cant take everything with us.. This is a really good running little pickup.. It has a few years newer 235 engine. New clutch, New brake system from the master cylinder to the wheel cylinders All new brake lines, linings ect.. New fuel lines, New wiring harness from front to rear.. New aluminum radiator. New fan belt, water pump and hoses. Many other new parts… This truck starts and runs exellent. Fires right up every time and idles perfectly. Just a great driver.. The exhaust could use some work but is still functional.. The seat is original has never been recovered or modified. The heater is not hooked up at this time. I just dont drive it in the winter so wasnt really important to me.. The two holes in the dash for the radio nobs have been enlarged a little. This is a really nice driver quality pickup I have driven in 20-50 miles a week for the past summer without any issues at all.. This truck is not restored It has one very small area of rust as shown in pictures. It is on the passenger side floor under the heater vent. Very minor for a truck this age.. I have new bed strips for it and a complete set of weatherstrip and window gaskets that will also come with this pickup.
