1949 gmc 100 series pickup 5 window
Nebraska fresh! this 49 is a 1/2 ton short box with the deluxe 5 window cab!
has a good running 235 6 cylinder engine, 12 volt system with an alternator, electric fuel pump, right now it is running off an auxiliary gas can, the original tank should be cleaned im sure. the engine sounds good and has good oil pressure. the rear end is a 12 bolt, i did drive it around the driveway but its not road ready! needs brakes work as there are no brakes! the truck sits higher up as it has lift blocks in the front suspension and taller shocks in the rear, this all could easily be removed. this would make a nice rat rod project or a complete restoration project! very desirable 5 window truck! look at the pics for a general idea of the condition.
