Very elegant looking 1940 Packard 110 business coupe. Refurbished in 1998, motor & trans gone through, paint, interior, all re-chromed parts, and very well kept since. Driven less then 1000 miles per year. This is a 245 6 cyl flat head with 3 spd trans, NO OVERDRIVE. Runs and drives nice. Squeak in belt or water pump, goes away when driven a few miles. Interior is very nice and well done, Clock, cigar lighter, no heater/defrost or radio. ( Packard heater included.) Needs new gas gauge, different year gauge hooked up and hanging under dash as shown. all good glass. All light work, no blinkers though. Very good looking body and paint. There are just a few nicks and scratches. One larger one on pass side rear fender as shown in pictures, other spots are shown in pictures also. I see no major metal repair but there is some bondo skim coating in some areas like door jam and rear tail pan edge. There is no appearance of rust out anywhere I can see. Older neoprene tires should be replaced for a better ride. There is also a minor rear pinion seal leak in rear end and oil on the trans. Underside could use detailing.
I bought it in the spring from the guy who had it redone in 1998. It has always been well kept but needs to be driven more. Selling as-is. Mileage is what is showing but dont know if it’s original.
