1941 Ford RAT ROD
This blacked out bad boy is one mean machine! It has a 1941 Ford truck body that is sitting on a custom chassis. It has been chopped four inches and channeled six inches.
The bed has been bobbed a full twelve inches, with ladder bars, a truck 9 differential with 3.73 gears, and a fuel cell have been added out back.
Up front are tubular control arms, coil over shocks with adjustable ride height, and a 32′ Ford grill sheel with a fat custom aluminum radiator.
The real gem in this beauty is the engine!! Over $25,000 have gone into this engine build alone. The massive 440 cubic inch Chrysler mill has been professionally built with a forged Scat roatating assembly, lumpy bump stick, roller valvetrain,and topped with a Blower Shop 8-71 Supercharger with dual Holley 4 barrel carburetors big enough to suck in a house cat. Ignition is courtesy of MSD, with a 6AL box on the firewall and a billet aluminum distributor up front. The exhaust headers dump directly out either side, and she will shoot flames six inches from either pipe. This combination is making about 600 horsepower on pump gas, and in this feather lite chassis, it is more fun than should be legally allowed. Baking up the power is a fully built heavy duty 727 Torqueflight automatic, and the only thing to slow this bad boy down are manual discs up front and drums out back.
